前言——阿迪斯阿貝巴第二次過境冒險之旅

是次落腳的是離機場五分鐘車程的Ambassador飯店,這是阿迪斯阿貝巴的國賓飯店的意思嗎?

 

This time we stayed at Ambassador Hotel which is only a few kilometers away from the airport.

飯店感覺比上次的Top Ten Hotel高級一點

 

It seemed fancier than Top Ten Hotel I stayed last time.

房間可以選擇要一人一間還是兩人一間或很多人一間,反正價錢就是50美金/人,我們選擇雙人房,房間非常大還有客廳跟廚房,只是舊了一點

 

You may choose two single rooms for you and your friend or a double room for you two. The price is all the same, 50 US Dollar each. We chose a double room which was really big, with a living room and a kitchen.

床的話有點硬,但還是可以睡一個好覺

 

The beds were quite hard, but comfortable enough to sleep.

午飯過後便找了輛計程車開始阿迪斯阿貝巴市區探險,這是一間非常弱的衣索比亞國家博物館,為少數市區的景點之一

 

After lunch we hired a cab to explore Addis Ababa. This is the National Museum of Ethiopia. Actually, there is only a few things to see in the museum. I felt so sleepy as the museum was relatively boring.

市區還是隨處可見垃圾、市井小販,不知道那些空姐們是不是也生活在這邊,很好奇她們在衣索匹亞過什麼樣的生活

 

Though Addis Ababa is one of the most modern city in Africa, you can still see many trashes on the streets. I am wondering if those Ethiopian flight attendants live here and what their way of life is.

儘管這個國家正在進步當中,且中國大陸幫衣索比亞蓋了不少建設,但還是有濃厚的非洲城市影子,路況糟糕街道不太乾淨

這個廣場是當天最後一個停留點,連景點都稱不上,只是一個很大的台北西站的概念,離開這邊之後玩興盡失,因為被當地人持刀勒索入場費,不給司機也不開車,所以只能給錢了事了......

 

The advertisement of Ethiopian new destination, Manila. I thought the Pearl of Orient is Shanghai instead of Manila. This square was the last tourist spot on that day. We lost our willingness to explore more part of the city because a man blackmailed us there. He claimed that we needed to pay 30 Birr each to enter the square. 微旅行第三話——「超經典」之衣航ADD貴賓室

20:15抵達燈火通明的博萊國際機場第二航廈,跟兩年前的那個夜晚幾乎沒有區別,只多了一個朋友

 

We arrived Terminal 2 of Bole International Airport at 20:15. This airport was the same comparing to my last visit two years ago. Still a mess

最右邊是商務艙跟星空金卡的通道,乍看金卡商務客滿街跑,但其實是因為沒人檢查,所以全部人都可以走

 

進航廈之前得脫鞋過一次安檢

 

The very right is the entrance for business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members .Nobody checked your itinenary or gold tier card here, so everyone can be a Star Alliance Gold member for about three minutes. Before entering the terminal, we need to take off our shoes and pass the security check for the first time.

進來之後就是唯一一排報到櫃檯,基本上全部都是衣索比亞航空使用,因為很少有外籍航空進駐ADD;中間是所謂優先報到櫃檯,有一架ET的787讓你覺得很高級

 

Basically, the only row of check-in desks are all for Ethiopian Airlines, for there are only a few foreign airlines in ADD. The center is the priority check-in path, with a fancy 787 model.

有美麗空姐立牌以及鋪上綠色地毯的康莊大道!

 

小弟還是普卡的時候也走過這邊一次,因為上次地勤問我去哪,我說科威特她就叫我走地毯,明明時間也沒有很晚

 

A beautiful Ethiopian flight attendant board is placed here to greet the passengers. The green carpet lead you all the way the the counter, but it was quite dirty.

管制區內還是一樣很多人,但這次至少還有空位可以坐,然後機場雖然有免費wifi,但根本就沒辦法連上

 

After the customs, we arrived the departure hall directly without any baggage security check. This airport provides free wi-fi, but it is almost impossible to link to it.

中文櫃檯也是那時候沒有的,這裏的小哥來自湖南,後來不小心跟他聊起來,還請我們幫他買南非蘆薈膠回來,從來沒聽過南非蘆薈膠有名

 

There is a Chinese temple-like counter for Chinese service since the major of passengers in ADD is Chinese people.

多了這個不是貴賓室的休息區域,或許是人人皆可進去休息的地方,除此之外ADD的廁所還變成貨櫃的流動廁所,我是在大佳河濱公園嗎?

 

I don't know if this area is for some specific group of passengers or anybody can take a rest there. And to my surprise, the toilet became portable toilets. It was really weird for an international airport. Was I in a park or something?

兩年前的Cloud Nine貴賓室長得像網咖,那時星空金卡也是使用這間貴賓室的樣子,還記得當初說下次回到這邊的時候星空金卡應該已經過期,沒想到會這麼快就回來

 

The Cloud Nine Lounge looked like this two years ago. I remember I said my gold tier would expire before the next visit in ADD, but I never expected I would come back ADD that soon.

如今的Cloud Nine Lounge改頭換面重新拉皮一番,內部變成衣索比亞航空的紅黃綠色元素裝潢,但還是進不去!

 

因為這是給商務艙旅客使用的,星空金卡俱樂部在剛剛中文櫃檯的旁邊,說真的還沒注意到那邊有貴賓室!

 

This is the appearance of the lounge after a decoration. It is decorated with the colors of Ethiopian Airlines, red, yellow and green. Star Alliance gold members are not allowed to use this lounge because this is for Cloud Nine Business Class passengers. The lounge for us is next to the Chinese service counter. To be honest, I did not notice a lounge was there.

走回去看還真的有個STAR ALLIANCE GOLD LOUNGE,也太不起眼了!就像是組合屋式的方式臨時搭建圍成的貴賓室,看起來就很狹窄

 

除了新加坡航空弄了一個還好的Krisflyer Gold Lounge給星盟卡客外,衣索比亞航空也採取相同的作法,算是對自家顧客的一種保障

 

入口狹窄且擠滿了旅客,大家看到櫃檯接待有空了就直接把卡片登機證遞給他們,也沒有排隊非常混亂,感覺沒在櫃檯登記也可以直接走進去

 

We looked around the STAR ALLIANCE GOLD LOUNGE. It seems extremely narrow as they use this kind of white board to make an area for the lounge. I hope this is only a temporary lounge. The entrance was small and crowded. I could not see any queue there as all the passengers just handed their card to the receptionists when they finished. Maybe some people who didn't have gold tier just walked into the lounge directly because the receptionists were too busy to monitor.

21:04進入貴賓室

 

進來之後還以為燈壞掉了,裡面就像是臨時搭建的工寮,天花板也像是直接蓋上外面圍牆的,整個貴賓室就是一個長立方體

 

貴賓室除了照明非常不足以外,座位也不夠!可以看到許多人站在著找不到位置坐,裡面的桌椅擺設也被移動的亂七八糟,餐盤回收車也是亂堆亂放

 

After I stepped into the seating area, I thought the some light must be out of work or there wasn't enough light in the lounge at all. The whole lounge was incredibly dark. In addition to the lack of light, the seats capacity was also overloaded. A lot of passengers dragging their baggage including us couldn't find a seat to take a rest. The couches and tables were moved and arranged by passengers themselves, so you can imagine the chaos in this Star Alliance Gold Lounge.

貴賓室本身就很小了,一直有人進來卻很少人出去,等了十分鐘左右才有位置,還是兩個人坐一張椅子,真的是個星空金卡滿街跑的年代

 

但或許也根本有很多人就是直接走進來,因為櫃檯總是擠滿人潮,沒有很認真在控管

 

The lounge itself was small. People still came into the lounge continuously. My friend and I found one seat after ten minutes. Yes, only one, so we had to share the seat. I feel the world is full of Star Alliance Gold members now, maybe due to previous generous A3 loyalty program.

還是一堆人站著

 

最裡面是一間有躺椅的房間,我想那些桌子、椅子應該都是外面搬進來的吧,總之就是一個自由程度很高的貴賓室,都看不出來最原本的擺設

 

The end of the lounge was supposed to be a relaxing room, I think.  But people moved some tables and chairs into the room and dined there. It was hard to tell what this area was really for.

我想衣航也是想認真弄好這間貴賓室,所以有放一些展示品裝飾,但人實在是太多了,再加上民族性格,最後乾脆放著不管,很好奇沒人的時候是不是也這麼亂

 

I guess that Ethiopian Airlines originally wanted to make an exquisite lounge for us, so they decorated the lounge with some traditional Ethiopian handcrafts. But the lounge was seriously overloaded, then it became what we saw on that day. I am curious if the lounge is such as mess when there is no passenger.

角落的咖啡機看起來也髒髒的

 

牆壁上的暗紅加上裡面光線昏暗,讓人感覺有點像「猩紅山莊」會館

 

The coffee machine at the corner seemed to be a bit not clean.

盤子使用的是和Cloud Nine商務艙一樣的瓷盤,但卻是隨便放用一張紙墊著就放在桌上;餐具則是使用經濟艙的餐具包,是個可以拿餐具包給飛機迷朋友的好機會,但後來餐具包就被換成金屬餐具了,猜想應該是廚房來不及洗,就拿經濟艙餐具包擋一擋

 

One good thing is that they use china plates as Cloud Nine Business Class does. Despite the fancy china plates, they provided economy spoons packs in the lounge which is an good souvenir for aviation fan. But they changed the plastic ones to metal spoons and forks after a few minutes.

飲食的部分我覺得還算多元,青菜沙拉魚肉主食熟食等樣樣都沒缺少,但看到這些不知道是什麼的東西就有點不敢嘗試,還好晚餐有吃飽

 

They have plenty choices for food, vegetables, salad, fish, meats, rice. None of them is missing in this lounge. I dared not to try these dishes because I was afraid that they were very Ethiopian. Thank god I ate a lot at the hotel.

這些應該都不是正統的衣索比亞風味,因為沒看到他們最愛吃的生肉,小弟只有拿左上角的奶油焗鮮魚吃吃看,感覺蠻不好吃的哈哈

 

These were not traditional Ethiopian food because I didn't see raw meat which surprised me when visiting Addis Ababa last time. I took only the fish on top left to taste and it was not delicious as it looked.

從這些自助吧一樣可以看出來他們經營的不是很用心,食物取完沒補之外還有很多食物漬,所以今天主要只有喝飲料

 

I could tell that Ethiopian Airlines didn't put much effort into this lounge from these empty containers. Besides, there were some stains on the table.

整個貴賓室就散發出濃厚「臨時」的味道,感覺每樣東西都可以隨時被撤走

酒類專區稍微用心一點,種類雖然不多,但空位有用花瓣補滿,看起來不至於那麼空虛,但那些花瓣都不會掉到地上,覺得很不可思議!

 

或許你會疑問怎麼沒有廁所的照片,因為這間貴賓室的廁所就跟公廁一樣,比公廁乾淨但感覺上很簡陋,當然也就沒有所謂淋浴間囉

 

出來之後對於剛剛貴賓室的所見所聞還是難以忘懷,去了這麼多間星盟的貴賓室,有些雖然沒什麼吃的或者沒地方洗澡,但沒有一間像衣索比亞航空的一樣這麼令人傻眼,看不出有好好管理經營的跡象

 

Alcohol area seemed a lot better, right? Although the choices were still less than other airlines lounge, at least they covered the empty place with colorful petals making the "bar" level higher. It's unbelievable that none of these petals did not fall on the floor.

 

I did not take any photo about the toilet because the toilet was totally not like a lounge level toilet, more like a public toilet in the park. So there is no something we call "shower room". I still couldn't forget what I saw and what I experienced after five months. I have been to many Star Alliance lounges and some of them don't provide shower room neither or less food. But not one lounge surprised me as Ethiopian Airlines Lounge did.

進入登機門之前需再脫鞋過一次安檢,經濟艙的隊伍大排長龍,不知道要等多久才能進去搭飛機

 

貴賓室出口對面則是商務艙以及星空金卡的優先通道,這邊的地勤會仔細檢查卡片,但人多到也是等了十分鐘左右才通過

 

Before entering the boarding area, we needed to take off our shoes and passed the security check for the second time. This was the long waiting line of economy passengers. It took at least half hour to finish the check.

 

There is an entrance for Star Alliance Gold members and business class passengers across the lounge. The ground staff checked our membership carefully here, but we still spent 10 minutes waiting.

23:06進入管制區之後人瞬間都消失,ET849的登機門在1A,又是一個指標向下的登機門,走空橋的希望再一次落空

 

The boarding gate of ET849 was 1A which was indicated "down" by the sign. It meant we failed to walk into the cabin from the terminal directly.

23:11五分鐘之後就上接駁車了,優先登機的旅客有自己一輛接駁車,殊不知在ADD還有這種待遇,但優先登機卻等到其他旅客機上坐定後才發車,想讓我們在車上舒舒服服等待,上飛機坐下直接關門後推閃人去南非

 

We got onto the shuttle bus after five minutes. Ethiopian Airlines provided one exclusive bus for priority boarding passengers. I did not expect they have priority boarding since the boarding in ADD is always chaos. Despite the fact that it was "priority boarding" bus, we departured after the economy passengers settled down on the aircraft.

穿梭於大大小小衣航機隊中,繞過一架一架787、777、767,再經過幾架737之後,接駁車終於停下來了

 

We drove through many Ethiopian 787, 777, 767 and 737 fleets. Ethiopian Airlines now has the largest fleets in Africa.

還好不是上次搭過的ET-AOB,今天ET849使用機齡三年的 B737-800 Next Gen ET-APO來執飛,這架飛機在衣航737機隊裡面算是中等歲數

 

I was glad that the aircraft of ET849 was not ET-AOB which flew me from Kuwait to Addis Ababa. The aircraft today was a three-year-old Boeing 737-800 Next Gen, ET-APO.

23:28登機,親切的座艙長阿姨頂著一頭大捲髮在艙門口迎賓,衣索比亞航空空姐的髮型千變萬化,幾乎看不到端莊的包頭,大部分都是自然垂下

 

The friendly purser welcomed every passenger with Ethiopian smile at the door. The hair style of Ethiopian Airlines flight attendants varies a lot. We never saw the "hair bun" like ANA or Asiana Airlines on Ethiopian. Most of them let their hair hang down naturally.

今天商務艙的客人看起來蠻多的,這位空姐也是一頭波浪,散發出衣索比亞航空非洲的隨性自在風格

 

The Cloud Nine Business Class was almost full that day. This flight attendant's hair style was very Ethiopian Airlines, African freestyle.

Ethiopian business classes are all equipped with the same seats regardless of the different aircraft type.

經濟艙則是沒有波音客機一概的泛黃,可能因為這是Next Gen

 

The cabin light was different from the yellow, old light appearing on most Boeing aircrafts. Maybe it is because it is a Next Gen 738.

The ceiling was also different, but they didn't install individual screen, AVOD on their 737.

回到座位上之後也差不多登機完畢,很訝異頭頂置物櫃那麼空,但看到那麼多空位就不意外了!當天ET849載客率大概50~60%,很多人都佔三個位置

 

ET849是經由約翰尼斯堡飛往開普敦的航班,大部分的旅客要去南非都會搭早上那班用B777的ET809,轉機時間也不用那麼久

 

The overhead bin was still very empty after boarding completed due to the light loading on ET849 which was approximately 50~60% only. Many passengers was able to occupy three seats to get a good sleep. This flight, ET849 is bound for Cape Town via Johannesburg. Most passengers traveling to South Africa choose the morning flight, ET809 which is operated by B777-200LR or B777-300ER.

今天跟朋友兩人坐三個位置,衣索比亞航空737的座椅還蠻不錯的

 

My friend and I shared three seats today, and you can see the recline of Ethiopian 737 is quite good.

但是椅距就有點擁擠了,上次搭ET621的時候,膝蓋窩得碰到其他人的膝蓋才出得來,不過還好今天飛機很空

 

But the pitch is not acceptable. Last time when I flew ET621, I couldn't get out from the window seat without touching other passengers' knees.

除了閱讀燈之外還有可以調整的出風口,服務鈴只有一個 

 

In addition to the reading light, there are adjustable air conditioners for each seat. But only one flight attendant call to reduce the service frequency, maybe.

今天是個表定六小時的航程,算是中程航班!所以每個位置上也有毛毯枕頭,只是第一次搭窄體客機那麼久,應該不至於太痛苦

 

ET849 is a 6-hour medium haul flight, so each seats was provided with blanket and pillow. It was my first time to be onboard a narrow body aircraft for such a long time. Thanks to the loading, it should not be that painful for the next few hours.

It's weird that iPhone camera takes better pictures than my own camera. The 737 next to us had already departured for some place on the earth.

Ethiopian doesn't film a real-person version safety demonstration. The woman is trying to kill the man. She looks so mean!!!

23:48人少少的ET849後推出發了,737滑行速度很快

 

ET-APO was pushed back soon after boarding complete and taxi at a high speed.

00:01於07R跑道起飛,博萊國際機場位於高原,空氣較稀薄,發動機加速的效率差一點,所以連空空的737也很久才拉起來

 

Winglet被燈光照亮得很不自然,有種神奇的連結的感覺

 

The aircraft took off from Runway 07R at 00:01. Addis Ababa Bole International locates on a plateau and the air is thinner. The engine efficiency decreases, so even an empty 737 still rolled for a long time to take off.

起飛爬升階段機艙關燈,只有天花板的藍色燈光秀以及閱讀燈,但其實機艙蠻亮的

 

The main cabin light was turned off during climbing, but the cabin was lit by reading lights, screens and the blue light in the ceiling.

第一次在737上看到燈光秀,原來窄體客機也流行這一套

 

It was my first time to experience a light show on narrow jet.

起飛之後大家幾乎倒頭就睡,很少人會去注意螢幕有什麼,實際上也沒娛樂節目,連飛行資訊都沒有

 

Most passengers never opened their eyes after they took their seats for it was a red eye flight. This flight was not provided with entertainment material, not even my favorite show, flight information.

00:41起飛後才四十分鐘就拿到宵夜了,以一個6小時的衣索比亞航空班機來說這個速度快的不可思議

 

這一餐是完整的盤菜,但卻使用小型的餐盤

 

The only meal service began 40 minutes after takeoff. It was amazingly quickly for a 6-hour Ethiopian Airlines flight. Although this meal was a whole set, they served this meal with a small size tray.

餐盤雖小卻也五臟俱全,有主餐盒、兩樣配菜、麵包餅乾,塞得滿滿滿跟紐航一樣

 

The tray was full of food, one main course, two dishes, a bun and a pack of cracker.

今天ET849提供兩種主餐盒,小弟選擇魚肉海鮮餐,魚肉使用蕃茄下去燉煮,味道是還不錯但口感有點乾,飯粒的話就是非洲中東那種粒粒分明的超乾米飯

 

呃...又是四季豆跟青豆,我們跳過!

 

We had two choices on ET849 today. I chose the fish meal. The fish was stewed with my favorite tomatoes and ketchup. It tasted not bad, but a little bit dry. As for the rice, it was totally different from the familiar rice we have in Eastern Asia. The rice was very African, Middle Eastern, not sticky at all so that you could actually count how many rices there were.

飲料除了常見的水可樂果汁外,還有小瓶裝的紅酒

 

The drinks are what you expect on airplanes, so I was quite satisfied.

好吧!另外一個主餐也是逃不過四季豆、青豆的魔掌

 

Another main course was also given some beans that I hate.

這好像是很鹹的奶油雞肉配同樣很乾的馬鈴薯泥,兩個主餐盒都不太好吃,阿迪斯阿貝巴空廚上的餐都蠻令人失望的

 

Very salty cream chicken with dry potato mash. Both of the main courses were not satisfying. Addis Ababa catering service always disappoints passengers.

沙拉很像就是把魚肉餐的米飯跟青豆獨立呈上,但這個像蟲卵的東西不是米,它酸酸的味道很像臭酸的食物

 

This salad did not look like a normal salad at all. It was just like the first main course without fish being served as the second dish. Not so creative. These insect eggs-like things were not rice. I couldn't know what I ate after I finished them.

 

Surprise Surprise! This salad or something else was totally beyond my expectation. I thought it would be tasteless or a little bit sweet, but actually it was sour as if it was rotten.

甜點以為是巧克力布丁或巧克力慕斯,事實上它是介於液體固體之間的咖啡甜點,可以用喝的

 

看到的都跟吃到的差很多,你以為是鹹的卻是酸的,你以為是果凍卻是奶昔,衣索比亞航空的飛機餐就是這樣充滿驚奇,需要一點冒險家的精神嘗試

 

We had chocolate pudding for dessert on ET849 Wrong again. It was neither chocolate nor pudding. It was something between pudding and drinks and coffee flavor. It was like glue so you could drink it.

 

That's why Ethiopian Airlines always surprises me, sometimes positive impression, sometimes negative. You never guess what flavor you are going to taste even you see the food. You definitely need adventurer spirit to try Ethiopian Airlines meal.

雖然飛機餐被批評的體無完膚,但除了四季豆還是把它吃完了,而且還吃了兩份,因為朋友實在是覺得太難吃了

 

吃飽後不久客艙便熄燈開啟休眠模式,小弟跟朋友也是難得睡死

 

After the flight attendants collected the tray, my friend arranged a fake afternoon tea for us to kill time on ET849.

 

Soon, they dimmed the cabin and put us in a dormant mode.

03:21不知不覺又過了一個半小時,來到尚比亞上空

 

沿路上經過的都是一輩子很難到訪的國家,除了肯亞因為有肯亞航空可能會去之外,像是坦尚尼亞、莫三比克、辛巴威可能都很難去

 

Another 90 minutes passed and now we were above Zambia. The flying path was over many countries that I could hardly pay a visit to, such as Tanzania, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. I might only have chance to visit Kenya since I want to try Kenya Airways very much.

再次讚嘆同個時間不同空間的偉大,海洋生物燈光也熄掉了,整個機艙基本上只有空姐跟少數乘客醒著

馬桶比預期乾淨很多

 

The toilet was cleaner than I expected. Last time I was scared by the toilet of Egyptair and Ethiopian Airlines.

05:07昏昏沈沈想說航程應該還剩兩個小時吧,結果客艙突然亮起刺眼的橘紅燈,空服員也廣播ET849即將抵達約翰尼斯堡

 

靠!這趟飛行就這樣睡過去了,怎麼五個小時過的像兩個小時一樣快,要是教室跟辦公室跟機艙一樣有這種時間錯亂的能力就好了

 

As I was about to fall asleep for another two hours, the cabin light was suddenly turned on and the purser made an announcement that we were about to arrive at Johannesburg. The five hour flight was just like a Taipei to Hong Kong flight, for time really flew when we were asleep. I hope that office or classroom could have this magic power as the cabin, too.

果真是非洲最發達的國家之一,清晨也是這樣燈火通明,只是不知道下面的約堡是否有很多犯罪事件正在發生,約堡的治安數一數二的差

  

South Africa is one of the most developed African countries, so many street lights.

完全沒感覺到飛機降落之前有個180度的轉彎,可以看到約翰尼斯堡國際機場也位於海拔5773英尺高原上

 

I didn't notice that we made a 180 degree turn before landing. Johannesburg airport is also on a plateau of 5773 feet.

05:32抵達停機坪,JNB的航廈造型頗富設計感

 

旁邊是從來沒看過的盧安達航空Rwandair以及納米比亞航空Air Namibia

 

The terminal design of Johannesburg Airport is quite special, at least better than our TPE. Rwandair and Air Namibia, two airlines I had never seen with my own eyes parked next to us.

大部分的旅客都在約堡下機,要去開普敦多人大概2、30個左右吧!衣航的中停航班基本上都可以不用下飛機,在飛機上自由活動

 

Most passengers disembarked at JNB, and only 20 to 30 people remained seated to continue their flight to Cape Town. You can move freely on most Ethiopian Airlines transit flights and do not need to leave the plane.

空橋和飛機的空隙滲進幾絲約堡的冷空氣,位於高原的約堡有點冷,入境航廈總是比出境簡陋、有壓迫感許多

 

即便踩在南非機場的地上,心中還有幾分忐忑不踏實,從買機票、辦簽證到落地不過10多天,也沒時間準備黃皮書,不過海關輕鬆的看了一下簽證跟回程機票就放人

 

Even though I stepped on South African airport, I still felt very nervous because I took only ten more days from planning, visa applying to departure, and we didn't prepare the international certificate of vaccination. We were afraid that we would be denied at the border. But the custom officer just randomly flipped through our flight itinerary and asked a few question. Then, we entered South Africa.

JNB的行李轉盤超多,很不像是非洲機場的風格,地板也有南非國旗顏色的磁磚裝飾

 

但是等行李等了半天,等到最後一件行李出來了,我們的行李還是沒來。

 

幹!衣索比亞航空再一次銃康我的行李,ET在JNB的行李業務由同為星空聯盟成員的南非航空代理,由一位女保全帶我們去櫃檯,還好一大早的櫃檯人員還蠻有耐心的

 

地勤敲一敲鍵盤之後告訴我們一個好消息,我們的行李由前一班ET809預先送抵JNB,還好是這樣不然就很麻煩了,一定是ADD地勤沒看航班號就分行李的緣故

 

於是剛剛的女保全就帶著我們到無人認領行李處,我們問她能不能拿行李後再到南非航空的Arrival Lounge洗澡,她說沒問題,就這樣路過神秘的貴賓室門口,然後就出管制區了⋯⋯這樣真的回得來嗎?

 

We could not claim our baggage after the last piece of baggage was taken away. OH NOEthiopian Airlines did not send my baggage AGAIN. A female security guard took us to South African Airways baggage service desk. The ground staff handled our cases patiently. After he checked the profile, he told us that our baggage was delivered to JNB on the previous flight ET809. Thank god the baggage arrived earlier, not later because we had a domestic flight to connect. Therefore, the female security guard led us to a place to collect our baggage.

走著走著還走出航廈了,原來約堡機場外面長這樣啊?好灰暗!她還是沒有要停下來的意思,就這樣走了五分鐘,終於到了一間超偏僻的辦公室

 

We walked out the terminal and it was dark outside the terminal. We walked for about five minutes and finally we arrived another office.

OHD(On Hand Baggage)意思是沒人拿的行李

 

當辦公室大媽把我們行李拿出來的時候真的覺得感動,可以洗澡了!

 

於是我們跟著保全走回航廈,她說她要去問能不能進去Arrival Lounge洗澡,過了十分鐘之後她才回來,還以為她落跑了,她說裡面的人說不行,抱歉、再見!

 

好吧⋯⋯其實本來我們也覺得出來就不太可能再進去,就這樣臭臭的逛一下約堡機場、辦電話卡、換錢

 

OHD(On Hand Baggage) means the baggage that nobody claims

 

When the employee took out the familiar luggage, I felt that life was full of hope again. But a bad new was not we missed the arrival lounge of South African Airways and it was impossible to get back there. Hence, we just started a small JNB terminal tour directly.

這篇比較不一樣的就是衣索比亞航空ADD星盟金卡貴賓室的部分了,裡面陰暗狹小人潮洶湧,而且吃的東西也不太用心經營,沒有貴賓室富麗堂皇的廁所,只有一般的乾淨公共廁所等級,雖然榮登最令人傻眼貴賓室榜首寶座,但至少裡面的網路還是可以使用,能進去的話還是進去站著上網也比在外面站著發呆好

 

關於衣索比亞航空機上的部分,他們的737椅距一向不太令人滿意,還好今天ET849沒有客滿,才讓這個5.5小時的窄體航班稍微好過不少,而且小弟跟朋友真的睡到完全沒有意識到快要降落了,不知是太累還是椅子太好睡?今天比較為人詬病的大概就是飛機餐了吧,總是猜不到你要吃的東西是什麼味道,吃第一口都會皺眉頭!

差一點衣索比亞航空就要再次沒把我的行李送來,還好結局是提前送達,不然真的枉費小弟對他們長期以來的厚愛,那麼便宜不搭嗎?回程就是白天那班使用B777-200LR的ET808了,敬請期待^_^
